Young Buck Disses G-Unit?

The question mark is in place not because it wasn't expected, but because I wonder what the relevance of this diss is right now?  If you don't know, Young Buck is currently signed to G-Unit and owes 50 Cent one more album.  Earlier this year DJ Whoo Kid did an interview with Buck when he called in, and according to many people listening 50 Cent wasn't very fond of the interview.  On Jan 1st Young Buck dropped what has been one of many G-Unit disses, and we have to wonder how many are left.  I know for sure all this doesn't really help Buck and his direction and motives are in question if you ask me.  Heck I might be upset if I was him also, but I would do make sure my paperwork was good before I went off on a insulting rampage...

50 Cent & Beanie Sigel Go Off vs Jay-Z

Here we are the year of 2009 and what a year it has been so far.  Jay-Z, Eminem, 50 Cent, and many other big time rappers have either released or will release there albums this year.  If anyone thought Hip Hop was dead I disagree because of all the quality material that we have received this year.  Now with that said the biggest elephant in the room has been this beef between Beanie Sigel and Jay-Z.  The history of Rocafella is something feature films are made of and one day we might get one, until then we get the current news of two men who once seemed like brothers.  Every single person in Hip Hop knows Jay-Z's chess moves over the past decade.  Shawn Carter has allowed himself to be associated with every hot Hip Hop act over the past 10 years.  From being in a few songs with DMX & Ja Rule back in 97, to having Drake featured on his album in 2009, Jay has kept himself relevant by being featured in hot songs for the present time.  Is that a problem?  It could be depending on how you look at it, and in this case Beanie has a problem.

I see Beanie Sigel as probably the most street credible person that Rocafella had back in its day.  Beans was the one who had the soldiers on Jay's side, Beans was the one who went round for round with Jadakiss, and Beans was the one who would deck you if you spoke bad about his big homies.  Five years later, a few jail stints, and much controversy we have found out many truths about Beans and Jay's relationship.  What we have found out is that Jay hasn't really rode with Beanie on a Beanie album, yet takes any help he can get from the Philly Emcee.  Jigga man didn't do much to promote a Beanie Sigel album when he was President of Def Jam, which has also caused much tension.  Along with these few things there are many other subjects and internal conflicts that Rocafella has faced with these two men.  I would timeline this beef if I could but I don't have the time.  Right now I will give you a little taste of the triangle between Jay-Z, 50 Cent, and Beanie Sigel.

This year has been a year of fireworks as I stated earlier, and with 50 Cent jumping into this family beef we have much more news than we can handle.  What was once a friendly tap in an attempt to converse now seems like an all out war to bring down, and crumble the king of New York.  Jay-Z who has been labeled the modern day Frank Sinatra is facing a musical war with one of his biggest fans and now rival in 50 Cent.  The man who once dissed the whole industry and was in return given a shot by Jay is back at it again, but we have to question the motives on hand?  50 Cent claims to run New York and we all know that isn't the truth.  The current state of New York reminds me more of the 5 mafia leaders in "The Godfather" and currently this looks like the beginning of a crazy war.  50 has a pawn in his hand to help him become the best in NYC but what I don't think he understands is he has lost his own city already.  His album has been getting pretty fair reviews compared to his previous work, and at this point whatever commercial success he had has basically vanished.  The business model molded by Jay is one that should be copied because it has proven to be successful, yet many artists still don't understand how it works.  As we watch Beanie Sigel be a pawn in the struggle of power between Jay-Z and 50 Cent, I will leave here a few clips where all 3 men have shots at each other.

The 1st video is of Jay and 50 doing a Reebok commercial from back in the day, and 50 looks oh so much like a kid chillin with is idol.  In the 2nd Video 50 and Beanie do a small performance which was supposed to be for some Myspace concert thing and Beans performs some classics and the new diss him and 50 Cent made, the 3rd Video is of Jay-Z's acceptance speech and a small jab at 50 Cent regarding album sales.  As the checker moves turn into chess moves, this could lead up to be one of the most epic Hip Hop battles since Jay-Z vs Nas.

Rick Ross feat The Game, Ja Rule, Fat Joe - Mafia Music (remix)

Rick has gotten himself a pretty good track here with Mafia Music, and since I was complaining about getting a good track out for this beef Ricky seems to have done it. Over the years we know 50 cent has made some pretty good enemies, and for Rick to get most of them on this track doesn't seem too well for Curtis. Now we all know Ja Rule and Fat Joe are basically washed up, but Rick Ross and The Game on the same track now that was some fire. One thing about The Game though is for some reason it seemed like either he was sick, didn't want to be recognized, or straight up tried to copy Ross's style. It's funny how 50 cent has created a club of 50 haters, but you tell me, will you bump this or dump this (I know kinda cheesy but I needed something!).
