Here is the trailer for Michael Jackson's (RIP) film releasing in October.

50 Cent: Book Promo
Seriously 50 Cent is an amazing business man, but his Hip Hop credibility these days is closer to the Hot Boys reunion album. Them man working on his 4th solo studio album for Interscope has not made anything worth top ten radio play in two years. On the other hand, his business venture's like the website, and a brand new book are making money for him regardless. In doing some promo for his new book, 50 Cent decided to chill with Al Roker, and Rachel Ray. Here are the clips straight from Rap Basement...
One question: Is he really about to Self Destruct? Or is all this prepping us up for the Before part?

Kanye Vs Taylor Swift
Nah I'm not adding more fuel to the fire, just showing the 2 clips of both celebrities after the VMA's incident. Any opinions?
Jay-Z BP3
Jay-Z had an amazing week of sales for his sub-par album BP3. As an old school Jay fan I just couldn't listen completely to this album made for high school kids. One of the tracks that stood out to me the most was "Empire State of Mind" with Alicia Keys with it's amazing pianos from Keys herself, and Jay rapping some real stuff. Anyways, with my opinion aside, 460-480k people purchased this album in these hard times showing us that music still holds power in this world today. Along with the sales numbers I found a video showing how the album cover was put together. The video was found from Allhiphop.com so don't think I'm trying to post it up as my own news.

Kanye is an ASS, Beyonce is CLASS

No this is not my opinion but I thought it would be a great headliner. I found out tonight that Kanye interrupted country girl Taylor Swift's acceptance speech on an award she won. The reason Kanye did it was to show some support for Beyonce which is understandable, but where is the respect for the person who won? Also, Beyonce after winning an award herself let Taylor finish her acceptance speech which was pretty nice of B. Anyways I know there is a lot of backlash going on with this scene that happened, and I wonder what you think. Was Kanye inappropriate, or was what he did blown out of proportion?

Kid Cudi: Star Struck
In this interview Kid Cudi speaks about being featured on Jay-Z's new album, and how he has seen himself go from unemployed to one of the hottest acts out. I'm not a big fan of his but he is on the bubble, let's hope he gets more than successful. Plus here is the track that Cudi speaks on that he is on...

Singer Lloyd Leaves Murder Inc.

I really don't see how this is big news, the only reason I wanted to post this is because of some of the insight Lloyd brought in this interview. He stated that he left Murder Inc because of the lack of support he had with the label, stating that he had to basically do everything himself. One interesting thing he said is after learning from this situation, he feels its sad that many new comers fall victim to the materialistic aspect of the business, instead of focusing on the business. Also separating friends from business was something else Lloyd thought was important in the business. Many people say the music business is shady and most of us have to find out first hand if we get in, I guess the important thing is to let your ego go aside and think logically for a minute. I have never been a big fan of his, but I do wish him luck in the future.

Soulja Boy & Kanye West

Sounds like an unlikely pair but according to this article both men are producing for each other. Soulja Boy has stated that he is working on some tracks for Kanye West and Kanye is working on tracks for him. Those of you who hate Soulja Boy must be hating the respect he has received from many in Hip Hop. Along with Kanye, 50 Cent has shown Soulja Boy support on numerous occasions. I guess real recognize real...

Sean Kingston - Face Drop
Ok so the kid is back with a new song and a really bad video. I don't roll with Sean Kingston but I do respect the fact that he has made it commercially. Now with that being said, this video is way too cheesy for anyone to take seriously. I mean it probably works for 13 year olds, but if that's the market Sean is going for awesome. Check it out for yourself and let me know if you like the cartoon's or muppets or whatever they are...
DMX: Jay-Z has no Soul
So DMX is back and crazier than ever. This time he reiterates what has said before about Jay-Z and his reign as President of Def Jam. There isn't really nothing new here but the fact that it's something to talk about in a new year. Let's hope we can get a song with some of the big heads of New York, and the leaders of some of the most prolific groups to come out of the city. A Jay-Z, 50 Cent, P Diddy, Nas, & DMX track would be murda... maybe even Ja Rule?DMX Says Jay-Z Has No Soul (Video) | DMX | Rap Basement
Max B: 75 Years

This news came this week on the sentencing of Max B and his robbery case from a few years ago. I really don't have much to say about this except I hope he does some soul searching while in jail. Good luck to Max B and I hope he can create himself a future of good for himself and those around him

Behind The Music: Lil Wayne, TI, 50 Cent

VH1 is about to go off in some ratings with these new episodes of Behind the Music. Some of the biggest rappers will be involved in this music documentary, and one of the biggest stars right now will be kicking it off. Many of us in the Hip Hop world know the stories behind these men, but it will be interesting to watch regardless. To kick off the season premiere, Lil Wayne will be the first artist documented, and followed by a slew of celebrities from there on out. I can't wait!!!

Jay-Z vs Nas vs Eminem

Before people start throwing rumors out there, these men are NOT beefing. Jay-Z was interviewed this week and spoke out about why he hasn't responded to The Game, or Jim Jones. According to Jay-Z, he doesn't see either one of these two men as competition and only see's lyrical beasts like Nas and Eminem worth mentioning as competition. Is Jay afraid of The Game. or is he smart enough now to not get involved in petty beef anymore? Maybe a grown man look?

Mary J Blige feat Drake - The One
I know we have seen this song in commercials, and Mary J does some autotune, but man this song goes hard for the ladies while Drake and the beat stay off the chain for the fella's.
Drake Feat Trey Songz - Successful
Finally the video to everyone's anthem this year. I just wanna be successful!!!
