It's Hip Hop's TIME

Yesterday we found out that 2 prominent rappers made the TIME Magazine's top influential people list, and both were even higher than our very own President Obama. T-Pain was #34 on the list and even though he is not a rapper he has tried to be. Lil Wayne was at #12 and that is very significant for Hip Hop. The fact that TIME acknowledges that a rapper has influence in ANY way is big news. Maybe Hip Hop is not dying after all.

Jamie Foxx feat T-Pain - Blame It

Hip Hop and Rap news is kinda slow these days so I decided to post some music I've randomly been finding to help this blog get some more music on it. This track everyone knows especially if you listen to urban radio. It's not a bad track, very club like and chill at the same time. Let me know what you think if you hate it you can blame it on the a a a a alcohol (hey I never said I was a comedian :)

Rick Ross feat Kanye West, Lil Wayne, T-Pain - Maybach Music 2

Maybach Music 1 was a classic to me and this just adds to how ill some beats Rick Ross picks out are plain sick. Kanye does it right, T-Pain hits up the hook sick, this song for me is completely on point. If Ross has more songs like this with on point verses, and amazing production then he has a chance to be critically acclaimed here. This is just my opinion what do you think?
