Old NWA Picture

I got this from a friend who was randomly surfing on the web. When I first took a glimpse of this picture I thought Eazy-E looked like Chris Paul from the New Orleans Hornets, also the first person I recognized was Dr Dre. Man these guys were legends and it's crazy that back then they were nobody's. Much respect to NWA and hopefully that movie comes out real good.

Jay-Z & DMX

I know this is some old stuff but its good history. Jay-Z & DMX doing it in the raw forms of the art. Man this is classic, this is hip hop, this is what we are missing these days, but I guess everyone is the "Don" these days. Too many bosses not enough ego's to get pushed aside for some good time.

NWA Movie!!!

Yes indeed a movie on NWA is about to go into works with Ice Cube, Dr. Dre and others as producers. This movie will tell us the history of NWA from the beginning to the end. I'am so excited for this movie as it brings in good history of hip hop into the younger generation living today. Hopefully they make this movie very well and do not get sloppy with it.

Hip Hop and Obama

In our generation many of us see Obama as the HipHop president. He is the man that understands the culture, the people, and the history. With the support of our president, is it time we make music that is relevant to the times? I mean can the radio please blast music on our struggles, and what we strive to become instead of, daaaaaaaaang that girl got booty? If we can change the commercial appeal to real life instead of fairy tale land, maybe we can be taken seriously as a genre as a whole.
