I found this post on allhiphop comparing why Nas is better than Jay, and the other way around. Both men are legends and have gone different directions with their music. The audience range they cover is very vast and has led to many debates in the past. Also, we cannot forget one of the greatest beefs in hip hop history.

Here is a track from Ryan McDermott signed to Kanye's label G.O.O.D. Music. The track is very interesting and has a nice throwback feel to it. You can hear some of the G.O.O.D. Music sound in it for sure. The beat is very interesting and has some interesting change ups that only a Mr. West artist would be able to come up with. Check out the track lemme know what you think!

Here is track that is fire from J. Almost A Year

This post right here isn't Hip Hop related it just about me.  Its been almost a year since I've last posted and really miss sharing my opinions on how music was and is changing.  This is in hoping that I will have a successful rest of the year, and an awesome 2013 to get this blog back to what it was.

Rick Ross Interview before Trilla

This interview with Rick Ross happened before he released his second album last year. In this interview he is asked a question about beef with 50 cent which he says there is none.When the guy says he heard the beef in the street's Rick just seems like he get's all defensive. Now don't get me wrong Trilla was a pretty good cd I liked it a lot, but these days with all the information coming out on Ross, his credibility is really hurting his rap image for me. He talks about keeping things 100 in this interview and truthful, but he just seems too caught up in himself and this image of Rick Ross. I know there are a lot of rappers in the game who are not what they say, but usually they don't try this hard to become something they are not. If Ross wants to go at 50 cent's credibility, he will have a tough time as we have proof 50 sold drugs at a point in his life. All we have on Ross are some pictures from him receiving his C.O. Diploma, and nothing drug related or gang related. Someone should find out the truth and report it, I mean doesn't the media have the freedom of speech? Why let some clowns overpower them so they can get money for being fake?

Hussein Fatal - Letter to Pac

Man this track is really on point from Hussein. I really cannot explain this track because of how truthful it is, and to me it has a lot of feeling. This is what we really need in Hip Hop. Not tracks geared towards dead rappers, but tracks geared towards real life.

Lloyd Banks has finally released something new but this hook is not really good. I liked the beat going throughout but Ron Browz didn't do very good with this when it comes to doing the hook. Keep on trying Ron I ain't gonna hate because I have nothing you got when it comes to celeb status, but some hook writing help could be beneficial.

Bishop Lamont needs to drop his cd now. I mean all the buzz he had has slowly diminished, and for some reason he act's like he is an established act without an established cd. Until then I guess the freestyles can save him, maybe.

Yea we remember Crank Dat and Soulja Girl, but now its time for more of this young man's time to shine. Turn My Swag On is the new song getting remixed everywhere even though it has been out for a little while. Is it me or does this guy know something about making catchy music.

TI & Shawty Lo friends?

Over the weekend TI brought out Shawty Lo on stage during one of his concerts letting us know they are about peace. Here is more information about the show including a video of them together on stage. Let's hope this beef has been squashed because we all know TI could do some damage.
