Cash Money's Freeway

Yessuh, the one time home of the Hot Boys has diversified itself a lot over the past few years, and now has former Rocafella artist Freeway. I got this news from Hiphopdx and it is a few days old, but I still wanted to post it because I think it will help both parties out. With the self proclaimed "Best Rapper Alive" in Lil Wayne, Cash Money hasn't really missed a step in Hip Hop. Now with Freeway, along with the West Coast side of the company, CMR has itself a real Label not a one Genre label. Congrats on the signing Baby, but please don't try to kiss Freeway on the lips.

Beanie Sigel & Freeway on Islam

I thought that I knew a lot about Hip Hop, but we learn something new everyday. Earlier this week I found out that two of the most prominent Rocafella members are muslim. Here in this Hiphopdx link, Beanie Sigel and Freeway discuss Islam and the dilemma they have had because of there careers and religion. This article is very informative and shows us a perception of rappers which I haven't seen before. Check this out if you can as they discuss how they read, try to practice, and try to understand there respective religions. It is a rarity to have rappers with this background, but slowly it is becoming increasingly popular. As the world puts a target on the backs of those who interpret the religion the wrong way, those who are struggling with daily issues and trying to practice there religions should be recognized. Nobody is perfect in this world and Beanie along with Freeway and many others try to be the best person possible.

Freeway on G-Unit?!?!?!?

Yep Freeway is talking about it, and to tell you the truth I really don't care. I mean the Roc is finished, Dame Dash is having legal, domestic, and financial issues, while everyone else in the Roc is spread out. Along with these issues this industry cannot carry weak music sales. If G-Unit signed Freeway I don't expect a release because he isn't a major player in music anymore, and these days the Unit is like Death Row, once you go there you never get released (ask Buck).
