Hip Hop as Medical Treatment?
Dr. Rani Whitfield a Physician from Louisiana is working on merging Hip Hop with medicine. The doctor is trying his best to find ways to limit or prevent Heart Disease within the African American communities in the United States. Thank you Doc for finally trying to put a positive spin on the music and the culture, and hopefully your work within this field of study could bring us a better understanding of the music as well as medical advancement. Heart Disease is the #1 killer within African Americans with many reasons, if your interested the article goes to depth about what Dr. Whitfield wants to do.
