You have got to be kidding me! In this article Bun B along with other rappers break down the state of hip hop. Personally I feel Hip Hop has gotten so big that now it can safely be in competition with Rock, Pop, etc. Before there was a time where Hip Hop was against the grain, and still while it has some of those aspects, the commercial appeal is still on a high level. Personally, I dont go to SOHH. Something about their site screams bias and bullshit. There is no downfall anymore than jobs falling and the rest of the recession fiesta. Hip Hop was one of the first to be hit by the cut back in spending. You just need to come correct in order to make an impact now..e.g Wayne, T.I, Kanye and Em seems he will make plat by next week.
ReplyDeleteman i didn't know that about Sohh, I need to read in depth and check out there articles better. The recession has hit up everything, but I also feel there was an oversaturation of weak talent. Now that the real talent is here the excitement levels will once again get us to new heights
