Rick Ross is No Flop by 50 Cent

Yep I said by 50 cent because he said it himself. According to Curtis on an MTV interview, he said you cannot call any #1 album a flop. Has 50 Cent said he lost? Nah, because he also said there are a lot of freak numbers coming out of Def Jam. Could we have a label beef brewing? Interscope/Aftermath vs Def Jam? Probably not, but this softer side of 50 Cent has me confused as heck right now.

Rick Ross Album Sales

It's Deeper Than Rap sold a whopping 152,873 copies first week to be #1 in Hip Hop album sales. This total is said to be lower than his preview 2 albums, and Ross continues his consistency of low first week album sales. No I'm not a 50 cent rider, but c'mon all the hype from Ross had me expecting at least close to 200k. I wonder what's next for the officer........

Rick Ross "Deeper Than Rap"

So I read this article on MTV which reviewed Rick Ross's new cd. After reading this article many of the songs got very positive reviews and the writer didn't show any criticism. In this article the writer even went as far as to say this was a classic album. I don't know much about how credible this person is even though they are writing for MTV, but I do feel that I would have to hear this cd before I let someone else make the judgment for me. All though I'am very excited to hear what Ross has to offer.

Da Boss Rick Ross Pushed Back

Rick Ross's new album "Deeper than Rap" has been pushed back to April. Everyone is probably well aware of the beef between Ross and 50 cent, I do wonder if that has something to do with this.
