Finally an artist from my part of town Dallas, Tx who actually has some buzz. Dorrough who was famous for the Ice Cream Paint Job song is back with a new track named "Wired to the T". This new song has a beat very similar to Lil Jon's "Get Low" and has some very funny and creative lyrics. Dorrough seems like he wants to make his name with the funny and enjoyable dance music in the Hip Hop scene, and with this he won't miss... One question though, is this what Hip Hop needs?

Chris Brown - I Can Transform Ya (feat Swizz Beatz & Lil Wayne)
This song came out a while back and the video came out a recently for Chris Brown's comeback album. The track goes hard with Swizz Beatz adding some new sounds to his current signature sound, and Lil Wayne being himself for another cameo. The video of this song is pretty amusing to watch even though I don't completely understand what the ninjas are for. Anyhow enjoy this song and hopefully Breezy gets his mindset right this time around...

DJ Khaled - Fed Up (feat. Usher, Young Jeezy, Rick Ross, Drake)
This song has a very fitting title because honestly I'm kind of fed up with these DJ Khaled super collabo tracks. It was pretty cool the first time, not bad the second time, but now this is ridiculous. If you have ever heard a DJ Khaled album you probably know what I mean. At this point in Hip Hop collaborations are fun to listen to but now I think they are overplayed. Anyways here is this track for your listening pleasure from OnSmash...

50 Cent feat Eminem - Psycho
BISD is on its way and the leaks are starting to show. A new track called "Psycho" has already hit us up on the web, and let's just say Eminem is back while 50 changes up the flow to more Hip Hop. The beat is a quick witty beat which has both rappers riding it very fluidly. The lyrics are very dark, violent, and twisted which fits both artists well, and reminds me of the chemistry Eminem and Dr. Dre had when they did Guilty Conscious a while ago. If this is any indication that BISD will be a banger, then sign me up for the pre order because I can't wait!!!
Lil Wayne - No Ceilings (FINAL VERSION)
The mixtape is here finally and if people forgot why Lil Wayne has himself regarded as a Hip Hop icon, then this mixtape will remind them to not test the beast. Feed him beats because the rappers will be gone if he keeps on going!!!
OnSmash has the whole album, so I will just link you to their site.

Mase is Released
Ok I'm truly not sure if this is fact or not, but according to this video from a few days ago it seems that P Diddy did sign the release papers for Mase to work elsewhere. Now, we all know Diddy is famous for holding his former Bad Boy artists hostage (D-Block) but could this have been a setup? I mean to ask Diddy to do something so kind while Puffy IF he hadn't, would've had to explain his whole ordeal on the radio, AND take on an angry Mase during a live radio show seems pretty rough to me. Plus you can't forget Diddy doesn't like too much controversy especially after the whole 90's decade so it seems setup to me. On the real though, who here from the teenagers that use these blogs is even interested in Mase? Is he still considered a hypocrite? Do we forgive him? I'm curious for your opinion....
Lloyd Banks - Relay
For some reason it feels like 2003 again with all these rappers coming back, Jay-Z throwing it back, and some 50 vs Ja beef again, but this post isn't for the beefs its for the boy wonder Lloyd Banks taking it back to the streets finally in this single. The flow is sicker than sick, the beat is too hard to bump, and the overall track makes Lloyd Banks sound more like the Banks we have been waiting for, aggressive, lyrical, cold, smooth, etc.
Juvenile feat Shawty Lo & Dorrough - We Be Gettin Money
If you didn't think he was back, homie he is back!!! Juvenile drops a hood banger in this track and I can't stop bumpin it. The old school flow with an amazing hook and nice guest spots has Juve sounded real good right about now. Watch out for this Hot Boy I think he will blaze up this winter being Cocky & Confident.

Yo Gotti - 5 Star B**** (Remix)
Here is the video for this song by Yo Gotti with the summers hottest featured rapper Gucci Mane. I know the whole South is bumpin this song like crazy lately, but do other regions even consider this song a hit? I'm interested in hearing about others opinions on this topic.

Young Buck on G-Unit Radio?
I saw this last night and thought it would be relevant with 50 Cent's album about to drop. Young Buck called in and spoke with Whoo Kid about topics on Eminem, Buck's release, and Buck's future. In this interview what I wished Whoo Kid would've mentioned was Young Buck's appearance in The Game's music video, Buck screaming F*** G-Unit, and how he has caused some of the issues he is facing. Personally I feel like touching on those issues in a non controversial way would've been pretty productive, but of course we don't realize these things until they happen.

50 Cent: Behind The Music (FULL VIDEO)
I watched this on WSHH and I'm linking it from there. For about a decade we have had 50 Cent in Hip Hop and as the haters have grown, so has his money. Now with all the odds against him, we wait and see what his fourth album has to offer to Hip Hop, and during this wait we get a documentary. Perfect timing?
Jay-Z: Another Million More...
Jay-Z has finally hit the platinum mark in album sales but what does that mean in Hip Hop now? Eminem did it earlier this year, and Jadakiss went gold so are sales relevant now? I personally feel that they do have an impact on how an artist is perceived for us today because of the fact that we grew up on cds, but those of us who haven't might not care at all. Props is all I have to say about Jigga's sales and I hope he receives much more success in the future.
Juvenile - Ha 2009?
I got into Hip Hop late as a youngster during the days of the Cash Money era, but before that time I had knowledge of music in terms of that genre. Tupac was just a name, Biggie was the same, but Juvenile was a legend for me as a 14 year old teenager. So I was a little hormone driven, and hearing a song telling girls to "Back That Thang Up" sounded pretty good to me. How about the fact that there was a 15 year old kid rapping and his age was very close to my own. Anyways now here into the present, those group of men have made an impact in Southern Hip Hop and are now ready for there next arsenal of albums. My favorite of the past time is back with an interview on his hiatus from Hip Hop, and I also will post the youtube links to the 2 songs he mentions in the interview. Enjoy!

10 Day Gap, Hip Hop Attacks
I thought that was a catchy headliner for this post that is well over due. News has been somewhat slow but here is a little summary of what's going on in Hip Hop. Juvenile has an interview with XXL over his 3 year absence and the new album he is supposed to drop very soon, Dr. Dre has asked for Jay-Z to drop some lines on his Detox album, Eminem has recalled the day he heard about 50 Cent being shot, while Fif had his Behind The Music episode air this week, also Shyne and Diddy go back and forth, and Jeezy and Jigga will have a video for the single "As Real as it Get's"
Oh and I really liked this image for the headliner!

B.G. Prepares New Album FINALLY
2007 was supposed to be the year this album dropped, then 2008, then 2009 spring, and finally it seems the day is coming. With features from some of his old friends in Juvenile and Lil Wayne, B.G. will have many other prolific southern artists on the album as I've stated before. What is good about having this post here is, B.G. himself has stated when the album will drop along with a release date, so HOPEFULLY we will be getting the finished product.

The Game on Detox?
Well after a few years of being ignored by the good doctor it seems like Snoop has Dr. Dre looking to work with The Game again. I can't wait to hear this joint as it is necessary for this album. Let's hope the music is still as hot as 2005.
PS: If you think this is an old pic you might be right, but only after 2006 (as you can see The Game is repping his Reds hat along with what looks like his tattoo under his right eye).

The 50 Cent Summer Jam Success
I feel like this whole week all I've done is post news on 50 Cent, and people who were involved with him at one point or another. Today is no different in speaking on 50 Cent, but this time he brought rappers together instead of causing some type of tension. At the Thisis50 festival Curtis brought out many men to perform, and represent NYC and Hip Hop as a whole. From Papoose to Slaughterhouse and many more, the concert was a success in my opinion and should get 50 those record sales he was missing from causing havoc over 5 years. With all this peace talk I wonder if 50 has anyone else he might want to dead his beef with...

Help Young Buck!!!
I know we can't do too much in helping Young Buck with the disaster he has created for himself by straining his ties with G-Unit and pulling a Houdini, but maybe we can give him some words of encouragement?
Anyone? Anything positive to say?

The Empire State of Mind!!!
First there was the leak, then there was the album, next there was a performance, and now there will be a video for Jay-Z's single "Empire State of Mind" with Alicia Keys. This song is a very fresh song and very good for music in general. Now I know I'm not from New York but you have to love the music and the lyrics as a fan. Here is a video from Rap Basement while the video is getting made.
Diddy's Interscope
The news has been official for some time now, but for those who don't know Diddy has moved over to Interscope for his new album. Bad Boy will be with him of course, and here is a video from Rap Basement showing Diddy chilling with some very interesting company.
B.G. New Album Finally?
I have waited 2 years for this album to drop, and now with some downtime it seems B.G. has decided to redo the album and drop it with some nice production. The new album with the same name will have a song with Lil Wayne, and Juvenile along with a nice slew of producers. Mannie, Scott Storch, Cool N Dre, and others will be on the project with the first single soon to drop according to Rap Basement. I hope this is not too late the only problem I have is that this might not be the right time for the bling bling comeback...

The 50 Cent Octoberfest
It's been a while since I've posted any relevant information, and I felt starting October out with 50 Cent would be a good way to go since this is supposed to be the month his album drops. We got an album cover, and a video interview with 50 and Angie Martinez which I found on 50's website. Along with this I will have a few more posts for everyone anti 50 Cent so don't worry.
